Elements of the genre 

 
I like the bright costumes that are used in comedic films. The bright costumes soften the blow for some potentially heavy-hitting jokes. I don’t like the heavy makeup that would be required because it would not fit the drama that we are trying to convey. Although I would like to add a couple punchlines into the scenes.

Practice Makes Perfect

 Something I really want to get right for this sequence is the establishing/overhead shot using the drone. In order to capture the drone shot I will need to pilot the drone at the correct height while keeping the shot smooth. I want to capture this in a single shot. I have been practicing for this shot for at least 1 hour per day. I will continue to practice until the day we shoot. Drones offer a unique perspective that will allow me to capture cool aerial shots and create more feelings that would be hard to capture any other way. First Day of Editing

  Today I started editing. For this project, I will be using I movie again. Choosing to do this was easy, I used the program to edit the commercial and still remember how to do most of the editing that I need to do. I started by importing all the footage onto my computer. After we got all the footage onto my computer, we started to plan out which shots we wanted and w hen. Since I had filmed some scenes in a different order, I reorganized them correctly to make the editing process easier.   I found myself comparing many of the takes, so I ended up consulting my group mates for assistance. The first big challenge was moving all the footage into the program. This took about twe nty minute s due to the la rge clips that we took. The raw footage was about two minutes and thirty seconds long.   Le Jetée is an influential and highly regarded science fiction film that explores the concept of time travel and the role that memory plays in shaping our perception of reality. The film tells the story of a man who is sent back in time to prevent a future disaster. Who uses a series of still photographs to depict the events of the story. The use of still images gives the film a dreamlike quality and creates a sense of uncertainty as the story unfolds.     One of the major themes of Le Jetée is the relationship between time and memory. The film suggests that our memories are not just a record of the past. But also a way of shaping our understanding of the present and the future.
