Same People Different Project

 For my final task, I decided to work with the same people. We worked well with each other before so we can create something fantastic this time. The first person that I knew I would work with was Ryan, we have been friends for a long time and live pretty close to each other. Ryan recently got his driver's license so it will be easy to work together. He was also able to get his boaters license so he can now pull and drive the boat completely by himself. Ryan works very well as an actor and has little brothers we can have to help us film if we need a younger actor. Ryans's house is also a great filming location due to its location of it and the area surrounding it. The house is close to the beach and has multiple parks which we can film at. Ryan is also very good at keeping my thoughts collected and reasonable. When editing the videos he is my favorite person to bounce ideas off of. Griffin is the next person I decided to work with. We have been becoming better and better friends through the year of working together. Griffin also has a younger sibling that would be able to act in our film. Griffin is very dependable and is able to act when filming in case Ryan or another group member is unable to make it to a filming session. Griffin's main strength is scheduling and keeping everyone accountable for what they are bringing. Griffin, unfortunately, does not have his driver's license and lives a bit away from Ryan and me. Luckily Nick my final group member can pick Griffin up on his way to either Ryan's or my house. Nick does not have his driver's license either but one of his parents can drive him to school most of the time. Nick and I have gotten to know each other better because of this class and I am excited that we can do another project altogether. We all worked well during the commercial and music video so I hope we will be able to create an amazing final project.

 Something I really want to get right for this sequence is the establishing/overhead shot using the drone. In order to capture the drone shot I will need to pilot the drone at the correct height while keeping the shot smooth. I want to capture this in a single shot. I have been practicing for this shot for at least 1 hour per day. I will continue to practice until the day we shoot. First Day of Editing

  Today I started editing. For this project, I will be using I movie again. Choosing to do this was easy, I used the program to edit the commercial and still remember how to do most of the editing that I need to do. I started by importing all the footage onto my computer. After we got all the footage onto my computer, we started to plan out which shots we wanted and w hen. Since I had filmed some scenes in a different order, I reorganized them correctly to make the editing process easier.   I found myself comparing many of the takes, so I ended up consulting my group mates for assistance. The first big challenge was moving all the footage into the program. This took about twe nty minute s due to the la rge clips that we took. The raw footage was about two minutes and thirty seconds long.
