This is my CCR. I had a lot of fun creating this. It took a lot more planning than I had originally thought it would. The hardest part was not laughing. Hope you enjoy it.
Something I really want to get right for this sequence is the establishing/overhead shot using the drone. In order to capture the drone shot I will need to pilot the drone at the correct height while keeping the shot smooth. I want to capture this in a single shot. I have been practicing for this shot for at least 1 hour per day. I will continue to practice until the day we shoot. Drones offer a unique perspective that will allow me to capture cool aerial shots and create more feelings that would be hard to capture any other way. However, it is important to approach drone flying with caution and responsibility. I must be aware of my surroundings and follow all safety guidelines and regulations. It is also crucial to plan out shots in advance and have a clear vision for the final product. I planned out my shots using the storyboard. I have visited the location where I will shoot multiple times. This allows me to understand where I need to fly to capture the best shot. I will use c...
Today I started editing. For this project, I will be using I movie again. Choosing to do this was easy, I used the program to edit the commercial and still remember how to do most of the editing that I need to do. I started by importing all the footage onto my computer. After we got all the footage onto my computer, we started to plan out which shots we wanted and w hen. Since I had filmed some scenes in a different order, I reorganized them correctly to make the editing process easier. I found myself comparing many of the takes, so I ended up consulting my group mates for assistance. The first big challenge was moving all the footage into the program. This took about twe nty minute s due to the la rge clips that we took. The raw footage was about two minutes and thirty seconds long. Next, I needed to trim down many beginnings and endings of my clips to only include the important parts, and to stay on track with my target time. I was able to cut down the footage...
The first website I found while researching was Art of the Title. I liked how this website was organized and the number of title sequences available for each genre. Each sequence was also further grouped by what is found in the sequences, for example, it would group together sequences that contain or convey tension or sequences that were shot in a single take. At the bottom of the page, the website features stories detailing major things happening in the title design industry. This website also features classic title designs in the search bar along with recommended title screens. The website also includes additional commentary on the title sequence that you previously watched at the top of the page. Although not all of the title sequences have a great amount of commentary a good amount has it. I feel that the website may be improved by including additional information in the grid view. Despite these problems, the website is excellent, and its long list of both explanations and watchabl...
