New Group, Some Familiar Faces

This year, I chose to work with Ryan and Griffin. Ryan and I have been friends since 4th grade. Recently Ryan and I have become closer and have been hanging out more. In January we are going to take a trip to Tampa Florida. I know that Ryan has recently obtained his boater's license. We are now able to go wakeboarding and water skiing on the weekends. Ryan and I were very happy when we found out we were in the same media studies class. When we found out we knew immediately that we would work together. The only issue is that Ryan and I are in different periods. We only need one other person to make our group complete. The first and only person that Ryan and I found was Griffin. Griffin and I had been in a class with each other last year, but we have started to hang out more in school this year. Griffin likes to play tennis. Griffin also likes to hang out with his friends after school. One of the main reasons we chose to work together is because Griffin is very creative and will add a lot of value to the team. We had to make a pretty big change to our group this year. Nick was no longer able to work with us. He is working with a different team. While this is a big cut in manpower, Ryan, Griffin, and I will more than be able to make up for this missing team member. Griffin and I are in the same A-level period this year! Never back down Never give up!

Practice Makes Perfect

 Something I really want to get right for this sequence is the establishing/overhead shot using the drone. In order to capture the drone shot I will need to pilot the drone at the correct height while keeping the shot smooth. I want to capture this in a single shot. I have been practicing for this shot for at least 1 hour per day. I will continue to practice until the day we shoot. Drones offer a unique perspective that will allow me to capture cool aerial shots and create more feelings that would be hard to capture any other way. First Day of Editing

  Today I started editing. For this project, I will be using I movie again. Choosing to do this was easy, I used the program to edit the commercial and still remember how to do most of the editing that I need to do. I started by importing all the footage onto my computer. After we got all the footage onto my computer, we started to plan out which shots we wanted and w hen. Since I had filmed some scenes in a different order, I reorganized them correctly to make the editing process easier.   I found myself comparing many of the takes, so I ended up consulting my group mates for assistance. The first big challenge was moving all the footage into the program. This took about twe nty minute s due to the la rge clips that we took. The raw footage was about two minutes and thirty seconds long.
