New Year Same ME!

  Hey everyone, my name is Logan Dewar. I go to Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 17 years old. I was born in Florida on May 30th, 2006. Both of my parents were born and raised in Florida as well. Both of them also attended Fort Lauderdale High School. I have a 15-year-old sister who also goes to Fort Lauderdale High School. I am currently employed at Condor Speed Shop where I assemble and package parts for BMW street and race cars. Something I am interested in right now is car racing, my father and I have been going to car races ever since I was born. When I was younger, we would go to professional drag races and spend hours watching and then looking at the cars when they were finished. We never participated in the races, but it was awesome to go and watch. We wanted to participate in races and eventually found endurance racing where you can race for up to 24 hours nonstop. We started in a chump car series with a 1995 E34 BMW. When the team eventually progressed out of chump car we switched to Nasa and WRL events with the same car.  The team is currently working on building 9 E90 race cars in hopes of starting a new series called spec E9X where all the cars will be the exact same and rely more on the driver to win. I am currently a Senior in High school. I am excited to embark on my A-level journey! I have found new ways of filming. These ways will hopefully allow me to up my production quality! Practice Makes Perfect

 Something I really want to get right for this sequence is the establishing/overhead shot using the drone. In order to capture the drone shot I will need to pilot the drone at the correct height while keeping the shot smooth. I want to capture this in a single shot. I have been practicing for this shot for at least 1 hour per day. I will continue to practice until the day we shoot. Drones offer a unique perspective that will allow me to capture cool aerial shots and create more feelings that would be hard to capture any other way. However, it is important to approach drone flying with caution and responsibility. I must be aware of my surroundings and follow all safety guidelines and regulations. First Day of Editing

  Today I started editing. For this project, I will be using I movie again. Choosing to do this was easy, I used the program to edit the commercial and still remember how to do most of the editing that I need to do. I started by importing all the footage onto my computer. After we got all the footage onto my computer, we started to plan out which shots we wanted and w hen. Since I had filmed some scenes in a different order, I reorganized them correctly to make the editing process easier.   I found myself comparing many of the takes, so I ended up consulting my group mates for assistance. The first big challenge was moving all the footage into the program. This took about twe nty minute s due to the la rge clips that we took. The raw footage was about two minutes and thirty seconds long.   Le Jetée is an influential and highly regarded science fiction film that explores the concept of time travel and the role that memory plays in shaping our perception of reality.
